The World Reflected in Crimson Eyes (Akai Hitomi) available for download:

Some kind soul has uploaded the English patched Akai Hitomi to eroge downloads, so now everyone can play the game, not just people who somehow grafted the English patch translation onto their physical copies of the Japanese game.  Sadly this is the third game in the Irotoridori trilogy, which means we now have an English version of the 1st and 3rd game but not the 2nd.  But better the 3rd game than nothing.

Irotoridori is already in my great visual novel rankings so I'm sure Akai Hitomi will also be worthwhile.  The number of things I have to do keeps increasing.  I'm on the last boss of Phantom Brave Lost Hero, so maybe I'll finally finish one of my many purchased video games for this year.  I'm also on the last route of Noble Works.  Maya can be considered a last boss because she's such a boring route she's hard to beat.  I'm also receiving my new Magic cards soon.  This is no time for Akai Hitomi.  But I'm sure someday it will be Akai's turn.

P.S.:  Okay now I've defeated Phantom Brave.  I've already discussed my many problems with this game -- the bad art style, the dumb leveling mechanics, the dumb fights (the enemy one-shots you every attack, you one-shot the enemy every attack, and there's no zones of control so anyone can kill anyone no matter where they are on the battlefield), the boring main cast and their repetitive speeches, the awful music, the ghost-centered plot -- so I guess I'll say the good things about the game -- Marona is cute, and her fusion ability is awesome.  I guess that's all.

Meanwhile a much more promising game is coming out soon -- Octopath Traveler 0.  I need to clear out my game backlog before I buy anything new, but I'm certainly interested.  If nothing else I'm sure the music will be epic.
