The latest episodes of these two series sucked. Gacen Shoujo continuously repeats jokes that aren't funny -- that a middle school girl can't do a single basic chore right, that she's constantly hitting her dad and smearing his hair with food, that her dad acts like a mafia thug towards her male friends and threatens them with large knives, and the crane game scene took forever. I was not amused.
As for Isekai Myrnograh I'm fine with killing all those paladins and mercenaries, but there was no reason to take sadistic pleasure in it or mock them and torment them while doing so. It felt like Israel's treatment of Gaza. I'm really not in the mood for war crimes right now, not when there's a real war criminal going unpunished in the real world right now.
That brings the summer anime count down to 9 shows. It was a bad season after all. At least we still have Koujo Denka.
Meanwhile, I got the free SS Guaranteed ticket and it gave me Vritika. That's 10 shards on my way to my level 3 limit break, so I'm back to a 2.5 character yet again. I'm close to 10 protean shards, though, so I'll soon enough level her up to 3 and fix this curse. I was actually considering using Vritika against Apophosis so this was pretty lucky.
