The long awaited continuation of the main story of Heaven Burns Red is here. I've been playing it all day and there's still plenty more to go. The new chapter was accompanied by a new event story, so I focused on that first. In the event Adelheid and Mari don swimsuits for a gravure photoshoot, then shenanigans occur and no one else can see or remember them. Eventually the issue is fixed by breaking a mirror -- Kozue, the spirit detective, saved the day.
Adelheid and Mari are beautiful in their new swimsuits, but that's all. There's no compelling reason to buy the new SS Memorias. Speaking of Mari, though, as a reward for playing Chapter 5 I was allowed to pick any base form SS Memoria I wanted and recruit them for free, so I picked Mari with her all-important diamond dust ability. Now I can create ice fields alongside the fire, light and thunder fields I could previously create. All that's missing is a dark field creator. If I introject this diamond dust ability over to ninja Mari I could actually have a decent ice squad.
The event also gave me the resources necessary to promote Vritika to limit break level 3 and base Yuki to level 3. I said I was going to accomplish this soon and here we are.
The new event also rewards you with a new S-rank Memoria of Tama. As usual she's incredibly beautiful. I'm getting this new Tama Memoria to max rank so I can wear her costume anytime I want while still fighting with more serious, SS Memoria versions of Tama.
Chapter 5 also raised the level cap by 10 for all my characters, so I went from all my characters being max level to none of them. These extra levels, once acquired, will help me fight Apophosis.
