Mayonaka Punch: A boring story about bad people causing trouble for themselves and others but only feeling pity for themselves. Fail.
Isekai Shikkaku: A dumb repetitive joke about a reincarnated guy lacking motivation but somehow getting a plethora of girls to love him anyway. Fail.
Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai: This story passes the first hurdle, which is giving a plausible explanation for why multiple girls would fall for a guy. Of course there's love triangle drama that ensues from that, which is always interesting. The question is whether that interest can be maintained across a long series -- especially since one of the girls is so much more attractive than the other (the girl with long hair who reads books versus the girl with short hair who plays basketball). For a first episode it's fine though. Pass.
Bye, Bye Earth: An overly complicated setting and a self-serving plot that conveniently requires everyone make bad decisions. Fail.
Too Many Losing Heroines: This show is hilarious. On top of that it has great art and animation. If only it were a drama instead of a comedy it could have been great. But comedies are half as good as similar romance genres. Pass.
Atri My Dear Moments: I don't care if you're missing half of a leg, you have no right to sell a loli robot that's self-aware and doesn't want to be sold away. On top of that he expressly betrayed his childhood friend who told him not to do it. I despise the protagonist. But the loli robot is so pretty I have to keep watching anyway. Pass.
Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka?: So much happened in this first episode with so little explanation there's no way to tell if the story is good or not. At least the art is good. Maybe I'll learn more by watching the next episode. Pass.
In sum, the current anime watchlist for the summer looks like this:
