Akira Toriyama dead at 68:

Considering he died of a brain hemorrhage the most likely explanation is the vaccine.  The vaccine kills everyone sooner or later.  Average life expectancy in Japan is 80+, there's no reason Toriyama would have died naturally at such a young age.  His death came in the middle of his oversight of multiple important projects, including new Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest content.  It's a terrible loss, because his latest work has been great.  He could have taken Dragon Ball to ever greater heights, but instead I think it's time to respectfully wind things down.  I've said so before, but I think the Super manga really needs to end.  They've already caught up with the ten year timeskip epilogue of Z.  There shouldn't be anything that needs saying after the epilogue.

He will be terribly missed and dearly remembered.  As though Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest weren't enough, he was also the character designer behind Chrono Trigger.  His influence on other good creators is immeasurable.  He's practically responsible for all of them -- One Piece, Naruto, Fairy Tail, anybody and everybody.

Dragon Ball is my 6th favorite anime.  His reputation is well earned.  He really was a titan.

Meanwhile, I've beaten the Nibel region in FF7 Rebirth and reached the 'open world' segment where I can go anywhere and quests are everywhere.  There's so much to do it's a little daunting, making me not want to do anything.  The same problem arises in World of Warcraft.  When there are so many priorities you're supposed to fulfill it just feels hopeless and impossible so you end up not doing any of them.  I preferred the tunnel vision FF7 Rebirth had up until now.  But I'm sure it will work out.  The game is good enough it can afford to draw back the throttle some.  This game has deprived me of both food and sleep, it's a wonder I still get enough air to breathe since it's robbed me of every other life function.

Joe Biden gave his state of the union address today which I of course ignored, knowing it would all be lies.  But it's rather amazing how many lies he made all the same.  The economy is not improved under Biden, the border was fine until he mucked it up, the west is losing in Ukraine, illegal aliens do have higher crime rates than regular citizens, the Supreme Court did not overturn Roe vs. Wade because it is pro-life, but because it was a bad judgment which cited illusory constitutional rights that nowhere appeared in the Constitution, and it's the duty of the Supreme Court to base their rulings on the Constitution, regardless of whether the result is politically good or not.  If you want good laws you're supposed to pass them with Congress, not interpret them out of thin air as a judge.  The rule of law depends on this separation of powers.
