I would like to keep my music hall of fame at 5500 at least until the final exam is done, but sometimes a song is so wretched that it can't be ignored and has to be excised right away. What to do?
Fight at Sea to the rescue. This comes from the soundtrack of Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, a series I rewatched recently, whereupon I noticed this excellent song and stored it in the back of my mind/hard drive in case of emergency need.
Sudden Attack of Dire Foe is unbelievably bad, it can't even be classified as music, yet again a Tales song by Motoi Sakuraba. Obviously I was too easy on him when listening to all his songs the first 100 times, it's incredible these tunes passed muster when they're so bad. Six years later I have more discerning taste.
I'm most of the way through Harry Potter and the Method of Reason, but it's a long book so there's still 500 pages left. This book has served me well escorting me through my music listening project.
I've handed out preliminary ratings to 3362/5500 songs. Tomorrow I can take a break and enjoy Wheel of Time tv, but for now there's nothing to do but listen to more music.
