Sometimes a song can be so bad it's painful to listen to, it goes from music to noise. Since I needed to eliminate 4 songs to reach a divisible by 5 number anyway, I decided to go ahead and prune my music hall of fame of 4 such songs and get to the nice rounded number of 5500 in total.
3 of the songs come from Tales and the 4th from Valkyria Chronicles, but all of them share the trait of not using musical instruments but instead making weird repulsive noise at least sometime during their songs. This goes beyond just a bad song which I could consign to 1-star status and forget, it's unforgettably bad and the only fair punishment is the death penalty.
Now I just need for there to be no more remixes among the next 2000 songs or so and I'll have a nice 1100 songs per category all equally sorted.
3238/5500 songs have received a preliminary rating. By now I'm probably halfway through for real.
