No Game No Life Practical War Game read:

For a No Game no Life book this one was pretty good.  It's a collection of short stories mostly about the Great War, featuring warriors of that era.  There's also a comical section where Steph tries to beat Sora in a game.  It's entertaining enough, but also struggles with its own pointlessness.

So Jibril defeated a dragon.  It was pointless though.  The dragon never meant her any harm in the first place, so it's like shooting a lion from a helicopter and calling yourself a great hunter.

Steph tries to get Sora to fall for her but she fails so it's all ultimately pointless.

Fiel tries to get Chlammy to fall for her but she fails so it's all ultimately pointless.

There's no plot progression because there's no romance progression.  Everyone's feelings for each other stay the exact same, but a story is basically a logbook of how feelings changed from point A to point B.  The measure of time in a story is in emotions.  If an emotion hasn't changed from its previous stated point, there's no point talking about it.

More of consequence happens in a page of '100 Waifus' than this entire book.  This is because Christopher is either stating his feelings for a waifu for the first time, or a waifu is stating her feelings for Christopher for the first time, throughout.  They're interesting new feelings, not tired unchanging feelings.  They cover new ground.

Probably the reason why all these romances fail to progress is censorship.  If anyone actually fell in love they would have to have sex, but that can't be depicted so the love that would lead to sex can never happen either.  It leaves everyone in the story emotionally stunted subhumans.  They can't feel the full range of human emotions and passions so they come off looking like braindead puppets instead.  They do things not because it makes sense, but because that way they can avoid being censored.  It's painful to watch.

I would advise Yuu Kamiya to stop writing for this company and to publish a real, true book he can write the way he actually wants on a free website.  Then he can let his characters act true to themselves and freely explore the true beauty and wonder of human nature.  Stop flying on clipped wings.  He already has money and fame, he should stop whoring his mind out to these twisted versions of his true artistic vision.  The fans would follow him anywhere so he could get what he really felt out to as many people as desired.

So long as he writes for this company he'll never write anything great.  I paid $9 for this fluff.

It gets tiresome, and Yuu Kamiya seems to agree -- No Game No Life hasn't published a new volume in Japan in years.  The plot is of course at a major cliffhanger, it always is.  It's not that there wasn't more to write in the No Game No Life world.  It's that the author has reached a total wall where what he wants to write isn't allowed, so he'd rather not write at all.  So instead of outright saying, "I'm sick of this confined space, I quit," he just politely stops writing for no reason and the series slowly phases out of memory.  No Game No Life has joined a long litany of incomplete works that will never be completed no matter how many years we wait for more.

Next up is Solzhenitysn's Red Wheel Node 3 Book 3, which came out translated in English for the first time today.  On Kindle it's a remarkable mere $23.  Considering its length and of course the quality of the writer, the best nonfiction author in history, this is a great bargain.  I read Practical War Game in two days, but this one will take a lot longer, it has a lot more meat on its bones.  This series is also incomplete, but Solzhenitsyn at least has an excuse, he died of old age before he could complete his masterpiece.  Yuu Kamiya is simply a moral coward who didn't have the strength of will to write his truth -- Solzhenitysn won the Nobel prize for having the moral courage to do the opposite.

Meanwhile, my music hall of fame is down to 899 songs that have yet to reach the magic 100-listen threshold.  I'm closing in.

Meanwhile, I added 'Feminism reaches its logical endpoint' to my 'Marriage' permapost.  I really like how in it I overturn the concept of 'rights' as the center of morality with 'duties,' something I haven't stressed enough in the past.  In the past everyone understood they had duties but no rights.  Now everyone thinks they have rights but no duties.  The result is a world in total collapse.  We need to return to the concept of duties.

It's not just in Russia, a new poll in urban China showed over 50% of women have no intention of ever marrying or having children.  Because they've forsaken their duty, over 50% of men in China have no hope of a good life, ever, no matter what they do.  Through no fault of their own they're cut off from the basic building blocks of existence:  Love, sex, children, the continuity of what matters most to you living on after death.  Because some selfish girl somewhere wants to try her hand at management or whatever.

If men understood the horrendous thing that was being done to them they would stop begging women for sex and start enslaving them, but they are completely stuck in this 'rights' paradigm that never existed until the 'Enlightenment,' which has now thrown humanity into its darkest age.

Yes, this is the worst time in human history.  At no prior point in history did over half the population fail to reproduce.  It's unthinkable.  No other species on Earth has evolved to be that self-destructive.  If that were the sole sin attributable to this era, it would be enough to trump the Dark Ages, but it's only the beginning of what makes this era so awful.  Having to say men are women or women are men when you can just look at them and see that they aren't is something no tyrant ever demanded of his people in human history until now.  No one in the past ever had to lie and say blacks were as smart as whites.  No one in the past had an 80% tax rate -- even slaves got to keep more of their earnings.  There were never any overdose epidemics in the past taking out vast swathes of the population.  Never in the past were entire nations forced into house arrest, but now this is a regular occurrence, ostensibly because a virus with a 99.9% survival rate is floating around and might kill a few octogenarians if we aren't super careful.

I could go on and on.  Everything is unprecedented.  Pol Pot was never this sadistic.  He killed off 1/3 of the population, but he didn't put the remaining 2/3 under house arrest.  You were still able, so long as you survived his purges, to marry and have children, unlike the modern world.  A Cambodian under Pol Pot had a higher chance at children than we do.  You could still work.  Now if you try to work, they demand you first lie and say men are women or you're fired.  If you try to work, they demand you first poison yourself with a deadly 'vaccine' that's far more dangerous than the virus or you're fired.  In other words, you must first sacrifice your integrity and intelligence, everything that makes you human, before you get to work in the modern world.  In Cambodia they would at least let you pick crops on a communal farm, now that would be banned.

This worldwide nightmare can't go on forever.  At some point people will have suffered enough.  Once enough young men who can't get women are pushed far enough there will be an unprecedented reaction on par with the unprecedented action that has been done to us.  There is nothing that can stand in the way of a majority of men of fighting age.  If they decide on something together, that's how the world will be.  Whatever they wish it to be, that's what it will become.

If they wish to be tax-slaves, without even bodily autonomy, getting new booster shots every six months, wearing face-masks and never allowed to breathe, having to say lies and nothing but lies all day every day, involuntary celibates with no hope of children, with a 75% divorce rate, then that's what they'll be.  If they wish to instead be free, honest men capable of family formation, then that's what they'll be.  It's unrealistic to believe men will really keep choosing A forever.
