Burn the Witch is pretty:

This is a solid 3-part ova.  I don't think anything was cg, it was all beautifully hand-drawn.  The character designs were great, especially for the semi-villainous male.  As expected of Tite Kubo.  Then you get to fly around London and fight pretty bird dragons.  What more could you ask for?

The plot is rather simple and the characters aren't very appealing, but it works well enough as a visual spectacle.  A 'good' but not 'great' entry.  There might eventually be more Burn the Witch anime, in which case the series might gradually improve, but for now it's finished.

I'm all caught up with Lazy Dungeon Master -- all the way to chapter 475.  The author in Japan hasn't even written anything further.  Sadly we're still nowhere near an ending.  The way this story is paced, it feels like it could go on forever.  But at least I've fulfilled my implicit promise, to have enjoyed every hall of fame entry I've endorsed, whether that be books, manga, anime, video games, visual novels or movies.

President Trump has covid-19.  I doubt it will amount to much, he has top level care and is generally healthy.  If it does somehow kill him, I wonder if Pence would have a better or worse chance in November?  It would certainly be an odd twist to an already overly odd year either way.  Who would be Pence's vice president?

Oh well, likely nothing will happen, so it's all idle speculation.  Even though I'm a white supremacist I'm glad he denounced white supremacists.  We're an unpopular group, perhaps the most unpopular group in America, so it would hurt his reputation to be associated with us.  I still support him because his policies -- reducing immigration, being tough on crime, appointing fair-minded judges who might overturn affirmative action -- are in line with white supremacy regardless.  You've got to play the game and maintain plausible deniability to reach the magical 50% of the vote needed for re-election.
