+3 Songs:

I recently rewatched Macross Frontier, and while most of the music was either good as expected or mediocre as expected, one song surprised me with a 'why is this not in my music hall of fame?'  I tracked it down in my labyrinthine also-ran music collection and it was titled 'Iteza Gogo Kuji Don't Be Late.'  Then I naturally promoted it to its rightful place, the music hall of fame.

Less surprising, the opening and ending themes to Jun Maeda's new anime, 'Kamisama ni Natta hi,' came out in their full length versions today so I naturally added them to my music hall of fame.  Jun Maeda creates the best songs, though infrequently, so he can't keep up with the likes of video game composers.  But when he does compose something it's time to sit still and listen.

Kamisama will probably reach my great anime rankings, but even if it doesn't it's already made my music hall of fame.  One way or another Jun Maeda's works will always shine.

Hinowa ga Yuku! is too expensive to buy fairly and difficult to track down for free, but eventually I found a torrent at nyaa.si with the latest chapters to get me back up to date with the plot.  It's so sad!  Hisame, featured as one of the sons of '100 Waifus,' is decapitated!  No coming back from that injury. . . And then his fiancee is raped and shown his dismembered body.  Total defeat.  Even so, I'll always remember his valiant stand to protect what was dear to him.  Defeated or not, I'm still proud to have him eternally memorialized in the best book ever written.  Hinowa ga Yuku's take-no-prisoners realism is also a welcome change compared to those awful Sword of Truth books.

Happy no Daibouken is also impossible to track down for free, but there is a slowly progressing attempt to translate it for commercial sale.  I don't see much point in buying this somewhat silly Fairy Tail spinoff featuring solely Happy from the original cast.  It isn't that good.  My only hope is that someday a generous uploader will take the completed commercial work and broadcast the ending to the world.  Having read the first 50 chapters, I would like to know what happened in the final 30.

All the election news is encouraging.  These new riots and attacks on cops in Philadelphia due to cops exercising their right to self defense against a crazy knife wielding criminal will help swing that swing state red.  Nothing better exposes Democrat hypocrisy on the issue than when they riot over every legitimate self-defense case in the country.

The polls are swinging in our favor, Biden can barely get out of his basement, new sordid details involving Hunter come out every day, early voting is stronger for Trump this year than last time, it's all looking good.  We have to win this extinction level election and it seems voter turnout on the Republican side is aware of this.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we took back the House in addition to the Senate and Presidency?  No more phony investigations or impeachments.  The press completely shut out of access to power and completely irrelevant.  Republicans could enact a pro-growth agenda and save this depression era economy.  Oh well, I'll settle for the President, Senate and Supreme Court.

If Democrats are defeated here they'll be forced to moderate their message next time around.  No more talk of court-packing, ending the filibuster, adding new states, open borders, green new deal, defunding the police, a 'truth and reconciliation commission,' or any of that crap.  They'll have to go back to increasing taxes and government spending on health care, actually popular positions that ultimately are harmless.  They'll have to go back to a rule-abiding democracy instead of a brutal dictatorship or riot-friendly anarchy.  They will be chastened.

And next time we won't be weighed down by Donald Trump and all his dumb words and deeds that make us look back.  We can have a candidate with a spotless personal life who stays on message and articulately explains why Democrats are lying, instead of just shouting 'wrong!'  Someone like Tucker Carlson.  We already win on the issues, so if we could get a nice likable personality to say the exact same things we'd win every time.  We just have to escape this noose and we're home free.
