What a satisfying ending to the series. Kyoma proved himself the strongest man on Earth by defeating his fated rival, the power of hope triumphed over the power of despair in a sci fi extravaganza, and Mira and Kyoma made it abundantly clear that they were in love with each other. All plot threads neatly tied up.
Though I didn't expect Mira to apotheosis into a God or use Genesis to remodel herself into a normal looking girl, as far as '100 Waifus' goes the Mira of Eden can just be described as the pre-Genesis version, so there's no serious plot holes to worry about. The important thing is I got exactly right Mira's feelings for Kyoma, which now even the author admits. Their ship will sail smoothly into my new world.
There was always something special about Dimension W I could never pin down. It's nothing like the other series I enjoy, and yet its charm was undeniable from the start. Perhaps it was the sheer imaginativeness of the author's world and its completely novel predicaments. Or maybe robot girls are super hot. In any case, I feel totally vindicated in choosing Mira as one of mai waifus.
I sure spent a lot of money on this series for the right to see Mira and Kyoma embrace at the end. ^^;
I've rewatched all of Boku no Hero Academia save the final episode which hasn't even aired yet. Likewise for Kimetsu no Yaiba, I've rewatched everything that's available in blu-ray, so 1-19. I hope the remaining blu-ray volumes are released soon, I'd love to finish rewatching this show too. But for now I'm stuck on both.
Did I mention there's a new Granblue Fantasy ova available? It's a lighthearted adventure which is what I've come to expect from Djeeta episodes. Strangely enough, the plot mirrors Kamome's route in Summer Pockets exactly. It was amusing even in a meta-sense.
I decided Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a bridge too far and replaced him with the safe choice of Hairi from Summer Pockets in my fictional character hall of fame. I mean, the turtles were meant to look so goofy they'd be walking jokes, I'd hate to saddle a boy with a legacy like that. Hairi has a problematic past and a problematic future, to be sure, but he distinguished himself in how well he took care of Umi, and even his thoughtfulness towards Tsumugi Wenders, Shiroha and the rest. Much can be forgiven when he's such an ikemen, plus as the child of Rin Natsume in the book there's even the mother-child bond of both being from key works to celebrate.
Fourteen more days until we get to see the ending to another long awaited manga, Btooom!
