If any additional proof were needed that this is the best book ever written, it has now been provided. 11 read throughs in six months has to be some sort of record. This time as well, I found all sorts of errors in need of correcting.
Some of the edits were proofreading -- spelling, grammar, capitalization, etc. Now the book reads cleaner and more professionally, which is pure plus.
Other edits were my war on the word 'just,' which pops up way too often in this story. Even though I reduced the appearance rate, it still shows up 964 times in the book, so out of 176,564 words that's once every 2,000 words. Just is apparently the most used term in the English language, as it seems to be appropriate for all occasions and all situations. It was really difficult taming this beast.
I corrected some other awkward phrasing and tense issues as well.
Nemu and Yume's appearance descriptions were corrected to better match the source.
Some children were shuffled around to more suitable mothers. More importantly, many children were switched out entirely in favor of better picks. This editing situation can always be improved as more quality fictional characters continue to be released in Japan for consideration every three months. Someday I hope to include future seasons of Pretty Cure in favor of the weaker Precure children currently taking up slots, but that's something I can only edit in years from now. For now the current Precure will have to do.
Still, my lineup of children is looking really good. I'm satisfied with the way things stand as is. This is a very strong fictional character hall of fame already.
Though the changes were exhaustive and throughout the entire novel, little if any of it affected the plot as such. So if anyone has read the book already, there aren't enough changes to justify going back and starting over again. But for those of you who haven't read the greatest book on Earth yet, now's definitely the right time to dive in. It's never read prettier than now.
The story is found in five parts on my permapost sidebar, but I'll helpfully include the links here as well for the lazy:

The best book ever deserves to be edited thoroughly enough that there are no distracting errors and points come across as fluidly as possible. The perfect idea deserves the perfect execution. After 11 rinses and repeats, that should now be the case. Inevitably I'll go over it a 12th time to make sure, but I doubt I'll find anything more. This book is ready for reading.
