Cop Craft, To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts, Wakaki Nobunaga and Hensuki Dropped:

Let's face it, these shows aren't compelling.  Cop Craft doesn't have heroes pursuing their own ambitions, all they do is respond to the current crisis and try to return to the status quo.  That's generic and boring as a human being.  Any character would try to avert a mass terrorist attack.  I learn nothing from episodes where x character acts like any sane person on Earth would.

Wakaki Nobunaga isn't a realistic historical depiction of events.  It twists everything to make Nobunaga look better or just to add drama or even gay vibes.  It isn't a reliable narrator like I was looking for.

Hensuki's male protagonist is a worthless human being who can't decide what he wants or communicate his decision to others, creating an endless whirlpool mess of women fruitlessly chasing after him that he's already in reality rejected.  This is supposed to be funny but I just find it annoying.  The boy is annoying for being so wishy-washy, and the girls are annoying for abusing him.  Everyone is annoying so there's nothing left to watch.

As for the abandoned sacred beasts, it's become a villain-of-the-week repetitive game of whack a mole.  There will always be more incarnates and they'll always be defeated within the same episode as they appeared.  It's just stupid, repetitive nonsense.  The story could have ended just as easily on episode 2 and encompassed the entire story's theme.

It's unrealistic for there to actually be 25 good series in the same season.  I gave these shows a chance but in the end this is as far as they can go.

On the bright side, volume 8 of UchiMusume's light novels has been translated.  I think this is supposed to be the last volume.  I've read the previous seven so I may as well see what happens in the end.  Like usual it can be found at nyaa.si.
