The latest seiyuu to join my anime voices hall of fame is Kumiko Nishihara, the high and playful voice of Perona from One Piece. She's actually a quite famous veteran who has played many roles beyond that, but Perona's the only one that strikes close to my heart.
Kumiko is also the voice behind the dark elf Pirotess, DokiDoki's fairy Sharuru, Suite's Crescendo Tone and GoGo's Princess Crepe. It's impressive how high and energetic her voice is considering she's now 55 years old. I guess when it comes to seiyuu they've transcended all such limits. Pretty voices really are worth more than good looks.
That gets me to 194 voices. Six more to go.
Meanwhile, Index NT 22 Reverse is completely translated and I've completely read it. It's a nice book, but it wasn't the ending I was hoping for. Just the start of a new arc. Quite the letdown. How long does this author intend to drag things out?
