Another fantastic volume of my 15th favorite manga. It's currently available at amazon. The battle with the drones is over after some wicked action sequences. Next up comes the two 'final' volumes with alternate endings, which they've already promised to release simultaneously in November.
Once that comes out we'll have the epic double conclusion to this epic tale, just like the Japanese have had since last year. I love stories being fully translated to their endings. I live for moments like these.
The last time such a high quality manga reached a satisfying conclusion was Hayate no Gotoku in 2017. It's been a long wait. November's still a long ways away so the wait will be even longer, but at least the ending is within sight.
Avengers: Endgame, on the other hand, is a joke. Even though a movie ticket only costs $5, they're offering it on streaming for the outrageous price of $20. Obviously that's unacceptable. I'll wait for them to lower their prices or, alternatively, for it to come out on Disney+ and buy a 1 month subscription for just $7. Who do they think they're kidding?
As for Youjo Senki, it can't be read until after we can watch the movie, since it is set after the movie, and the movie comes out in August. I'll worry about the light novels after that.
July 30th was supposed to be a more exciting date than this, but that's how it goes.
I'm now reading and editing 100 Waifus for an 11th time. I'm only up to chapter 4 so far but I've already fixed a capitalization error and reduced the number of 'justs' in the text that keep popping up like weeds. It feels like my work is never done, there's still so many obvious ways to improve the text. Earlier I replaced one of the child's names from Sakura to Hestia in honor of the ribbon girl from Danmachi. I also updated Aoba Suzukaze's age to 20 to account for her turning said age in the latest chapter of the manga. There's always more to do, and until I'm satisfied that I've done all I can I'll keep reading and editing forever.
Next up, near the end of August, we get Dimension W volume 15, the Youjo Senki movie, Fate/Heaven's Feel movie 2 and Outbreak Company volume 10. It's looking to be a three week drought in terms of new content, but the payoff at the end should be great.
