MIX Lives!:

MIX continues into the summer season with a 2nd cour.  This is fantastic news.  The series just gets better and better as the story progresses.

Even 24 episodes won't be enough to cover the full story, for that matter the story isn't even finished yet, but it's still double what we had before.

The Yuru Yuri ova comes out in Japan in just 3 days, who knows when it will be subtitled though.

There's also ova's of Slime Tensei and movies of Konosuba and Danmachi floating around in Japan, again who knows when we'll get to see them.

A new Utawarerumono game has been announced.  Based on their track record I'm sure it will be another fantastic installment.  Who knows when it will be subtitled though.

The summer anime season is right around the corner.  Only two weeks away, a whole new panoply of amazing shows are going to plop down -- while all the best of the spring season continues as before -- MIX, Kimetsu no Yaiba and Carole & Tuesday.  It's the best of both worlds.  The summer season has a great lineup, but it pales in comparison to Railgun + SAO coming this fall.  It would be great if we could skip ahead a few months.

The USA was lucky to beat Spain in the women's world cup.  They'll need more than luck to beat host nation France next round.

The Btooom! volume release I was so looking forward to was delayed, as was SAO Progressive.  Oh well, June has plenty of good stuff already what with the women's world cup, so this will help out July and August.
