Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Great Anime:

Sometimes reality is so blindingly obvious it can no longer be ignored.  Kimetsu no Yaiba is a great anime.  There's no point waiting until the show is over to decide, there's no point waiting until I've seen it a second time to decide, it's obvious already that this series is a masterpiece.

Kimetsu no Yaiba has joined my great anime rankings.  It kicks out Akira, which I didn't even want in my rankings to begin with.  The choice is unbelievably obvious and easy.  Kimetsu no Yaiba is infinitely superior to Akira.

If Kimetsu no Yaiba continues to be animated by Ufotable until the ending with this kind of budget, it could be a top ten anime of all time.  It could be the #1 anime of all time.  For now I'll leave it at 200th, last place, for simplicity's sake.  I'll have a better gauge of its worth once the show stops airing.

The moment this show stops airing I hope they announce a sequel for it, though.  There's still plenty of manga left to adapt, and this series deserves full coverage, the same as One Piece or Naruto received.  If it doesn't receive a sequel, forget top ten, it probably couldn't even breach the top 50.  That's how miserable series that end on cliffhangers are.

Hibike! Euphonium is a good example of a series with an ending.  Today it was announced that even Kumiko's third year in band will be covered by another new anime project.  Even with that it's ranked in the 40's, so that's the level of quality you need to get anywhere in life.

I promise I'll rewatch Kimetsu no Yaiba eventually, but it's too pitiable and laughable to not rank it immediately.  Not after the quality its shown itself to have.  With the dam broken anyway, I may as well rank Honzuki no Gekokujo and Vinland Saga once they start airing too.  Everyone knows they're great anime, it doesn't require a rewatching to realize that either.  It's back to the old method -- rate as great immediately, rewatch and prove they're great after.  These series don't need any additional proof.  It's obvious to anyone who's read their source works.

After watching the Xenosaga 3 full movie of all cutscenes, I updated the description of MOMO's looks in chapter 17 to be more accurate than my fuzzy memory had been up until now.  So yet again today I improved my 100 Waifus book that little bit more.  The game was way too Shion-centric, plus all the lines were so corny and cliched.  But oh well, at least the art and music were top class.  It's hard to believe this was only a PS2 game with character models that good.
