Kiniro Mosaic Volume 9 Read:

This volume didn't appear promptly enough online, so I went and bought it from Amazon.  It was beautiful and hilarious, well worth the $7 bucks.

Aya and Youko are depicted as having blue and red hair in the anime, so I was surprised to see they actually have black and brown hair in the manga.  It makes the blondes in the story stand out even more.

The first chapter in full color is a real treat.  Sadly, it's easy to read the whole thing quickly, so I'm back to being devoid of good art again.

They should definitely make a third season of Kiniro Mosaic, the later manga chapters have tons of great material.  I'll be looking forward to whenever volume 10 comes out too.

I dropped Sinister Designs from my music hall of fame, as it didn't merit 100 listen throughs.  That puts me back down to 5405 songs.  If only the ost of Ares no Tenbin would come out, the number could shoot up again. . .

Honzuki no Gekokujo is scheduled for this fall.  I can't wait for the fall anime season.  It's going to be ridiculous.  Honzuki, Granblue Fantasy, Chihayafuru, Railgun, SAO, Fate/Grand Order, the 2nd cour of Vinland Saga, and likely even Choujin Koukousei-tachi are all scheduled.  I wish I could jump through a time warp and start watching already.

The summer season isn't bad, but it looks like chop suey in comparison.  Overall, the 2nd half of the year looks to have better anime than the first half had.  There's also more manga and books slated for release in the 2nd half of the year than the 1st half had, starting with a completely packed June release schedule.

Even movies like Endgame will be coming out for viewing streaming only at the end of the year.  All of the fun is reserved for later.

There's only one chapter of Junai Sensation left untranslated and only two chapters of Nanoha Vivid left.  So for the second half of 2019 we'll get to see the vital conclusions to both these epic tales.  Akame ga Kill! Zero's final volume is slated for October.

The animated conclusion to Fairy Tail will arrive in the 2nd half of 2019 too, a series that has reliably put out new material every year since 2009.  These are all huge deals.  Not to mention the ending of the Skywalker Saga that started all the way back in 1977, only the most famous and best movies of all time.

2019 is automatically the best year of my life because I wrote the best book in my life during it.  (While rereading it for the 8th time today I found some more embarrassing proofreading mistakes to correct, so today as well I contributed to it being the best book ever).  But even without that, between Endgame, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Fairy Tail, SAO, Index/Accelerator/Railgun, Star Twinkle Precure, and all these great book and manga translations, this would be an incredible year.

The Nanoha Detonation movie is coming out in blu-ray soon, after which I suspect it will be quickly fansubbed.  The same is true of the Heaven's Feel movie 2, the Youjo Senki movie, the Lelouch of the Resurrection movie, the Love Live! Sunshine!! movie, and more.  2019 is just getting started.  It only gets better from here.

Did I mention Dark Phoenix is slated to be the ending to the X-men movie series that started all the way back in 2000?

Is there anything that doesn't happen this year?  It's rumored that FF 7 Remake is scheduled for this fall, and at this point I'm willing to believe it.  Even without FF 7 Remake, don't forget Shenmue III.  The original game came out 12/29/99, so here we are 20 years later finally seeing the ending.  We'll finally get to avenge our father's death and defeat Lan Di!
