One Piece to One Pace:

If One Pace's episodes are seeded well enough and available to the public, I'm switching over to them.  One Piece, the official anime, is too slow and full of filler these days.  At the very least I'd like my archived copy to be the swifter, smaller filesize, with higher fidelity to the manga version called One Pace.

This is basically the same as Dragon Ball Kai or Naruto Cut to Manga.  One Pace tries to cut out all the deliberate junk that slows the story down and get us back to business.

I've finished my rewatch of the official One Piece anime, all the way through the Big Mam arc.  But it isn't fun anymore, even though it should be.  The manga isn't complete trash post thriller bark, it just feels that way because the anime keeps throwing in recap and filler.  If I could watch the One Pace version I bet it would be good again.

I also feel like it's ridiculous to award 775 episodes of content to One Piece when so much of it is mere filler and recap.  One Pace will pare that number down to a size that at least somewhat reflects the actual amount of content the series has.

I'll download as much One Pace post-thriller bark as I can, replace as many One Piece episodes post-thriller bark as I can, and then see what the new total is.

This will likely keep me from reaching 9,000 for even longer, but better that than to finally reach 9,000, celebrate, and then dip back down under 9,000 yet again.  I should pull off the bandaid all at once.
