Mangagamer has published an English translated version of the visual novel Trinoline, and that now has a pirated copy over at nyaa.si. So if you want to buy it or steal it both options are now available.
The maker of Trinoline is the fabled company Minori, who earlier made ef. Trinoline is pretty much their swan song because they've now gone out of business, saying they could no longer make the sorts of visual novels they like. Perhaps the market has shifted away from their artistic sense or maybe they're just burned out and have given all they could. In any case, Trinoline is your last chance to interact with the geniuses behind ef.
Trinoline is about an android girl which is always a promising premise. Obviously I haven't played it yet so I can't guarantee its greatness, but I've been hyped for this game for a long time.
I'm still playing Hello, Goodbye, (I finished Suguri's route earlier today), but maybe I can just switch over to Trinoline since Hello, Goodbye is pretty marginal as games go.
This is a good time for something new to appear, it's a long time till the next sporting event, the women's World Cup, and I was running out of anime to rewatch.
