It's the New Year!:

January has a ton of fun lined up for us.  First off, Tales of Vesperia will be released.  There's also the much anticipated sequels to BanG Dream! and Kemono Friends.  The Eromanga Sensei ova.  Btooom! volume 23, and the rest of the winter anime season, which I'll be writing first impressions about soon enough.

I found a new good song, the opening to the visual novel Butterfly Seeker.  I also found a new good visual novel -- Lost Echoes -- though it doesn't have an English translation.

Bowl season was finally rewarding with a bunch of close games on New Year's Day.  Conference USA won the bowl challenge cup of all things.  Only the MAC and the AAC disappointed, the rest basically made par.

The NFL playoffs begin on the 5th, and all the teams who made the playoffs this year are dangerous.  It's impossible to know who's going to win the Super Bowl this year, which is just the way I like it.

A new Fate tv series is slated to air this July, Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files.  With Ufotable handling the animation, it's guaranteed to look great.  I'm not sure about the quality of the plot but it should at least be better than Last Encore.  This franchise just keeps growing.

In February we get the Super Bowl, and in March-April there's March Madness.  Game of Thrones' final season airs from April to May.  Then the Women's World Cup escorts us through the month of June to the 7th of July.

August might be a bit of a letdown, but then the college football season is back in September.

SAO, Fairy Tail and Index/Railgun will be accompanying us throughout the year.

Sakura Trick should be fully translated soon.  Zero no Tsukaima's final volume should also be completed sometime in 2019.

Da Capo 4 is being released this spring in Japan, but we probably won't get to see it until much later.  More likely will be the translations of Dracu Riot and Aiyoku no Eustia, which should be plenty for visual novel fans.

2019 has something fun slated to happen for every day of the year.  We've never had it so good.  2020 is going to have a hard time keeping up.
