The Curse is Broken!:

The two missing songs in my '100 Waifus' playlist were found -- Hoshizora no Horoscope which was Chitose's song and Ghaleon's Theme (Lunar 2 version) which was Izetta's song.  The playlist is now, finally, 1099 songs, the same 1099 as the songs assigned in my permapost.  Victory is mine!

As for my 47th reread of that very same '100 Waifus', I'm up to Chapter 14 with no edits required.  So far so good.

I've screened 4023/5500 songs, so the overall Music Hall of Fame project is still a long ways from complete, similar to my 47th reread.  But the benefits of this screening have already been manifold.  I managed to complete and drastically improve my '100 Waifus' playlist, I managed to get the correct rating for dozens of songs that had been patiently waiting for justice, and I managed to find songs to subtract equal to the new songs I want to add once this screening process is done, so that I can maintain the perfectly symmetrical number of 5500 at least until year's end.  Once the Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest ost comes out that symmetrical number is toast but that's for 2025 to sort out.  At least in 2024 I can say I had a perfect hall of fame.

I finished all the event stories of Heaven Burns Red.  All that's left is some recollections.  This game would be a lot better if the second half were translated into English. . .

Overall it's a race against time.  I want to write my year end wrap up post, but to do so I have to finish my music hall of fame and my 47th reread, so that I have something to wrap up.  If only these projects would finish themselves!

P.S.:  Okay now I've incorporated the 4 new songs -- Toxic by ReoNa, Pain in Rain and Goodbye Innocence by Jun Maeda, and Let's be ONE by Liella!.  I threw out 4 bad Soul Calibur songs to make room and demoted a bunch of songs to keep every tier even at 1100.  The symmetry is preserved.  Unfortunately Jun Maeda is still exactly 1 point behind Masaharu Iwata.  Maybe he'll compose a good song next year and take back his rightful place. . .  I also flipped the edited version of Battle with Seymour like I intimated I wanted up to 5-star at the expense of Recca, Like a Flame being demoted to 4-star.

P.P.S.:  Okay now I've promoted Pain in Rain to 2-star, giving Jun Maeda the extra point he needs to overtake Masaharu Iwata (Jun is earlier in the alphabet than Masaharu so Jun goes first even though they're tied.)

Now my music hall of fame is truly complete, with only the formality of listening to the last 1,000 or so songs left to prove it.
