Sadly, it's 720p blu-ray, but every fansub group is releasing Girlish Number in 720p, so stubbornly waiting isn't going to help us any. Perhaps the show just isn't detailed enough to merit a 1080p release. Girlish Number only aired a bit ago, so there's no rush to rewatch it now, but now is when it is seeded so this is definitely the time to download it.
Senran Banka is getting an English translation, so that's another visual novel to look forward to.
