Tales of Zestiria the X (1st Cour) subtitled in blu-ray:

Yet another show has received a subtitled blu-ray release, which is always a good thing.  It might make more sense to rewatch this series once the second half is also out in blu-ray, though.  Which will presumably occur near the end of 2017, as opposed to the end of 2016.  But it always makes sense to grab a copy of said file as soon as possible, while it's still supported.

There's so many exciting football bowl games to watch that there's no time left for anime, but once all the football dies down there will be lots of fun stuff to catch up on.  Simultaneously, it will be time for the winter 2017 anime first impressions, so we're looking at a lot of anime come January 3rd.

Today featured lots of manga, though.  New One Piece, Hayate no Gotoku, and Saki chapters were the highlight, as well as a confusing and poorly translated chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin.  It's now certain that Hayate will extend into 2017.  The more chapters the merrier, I say.  There's also been a recent chapter of Gokukoku no Brynhildr translated.  We're approaching the translated ending of this series, just a year later than the people of Japan got to see it.  I guess that's not too bad.

Railgun had a new release, as did Vinland Saga.

There was also a bonus chapter of Nanoha manga in the latest vivid strike blu-ray volume, so be sure to check that out as well.

Between football, manga and anime, 2016 continues to deliver.  What a year.  And still two days left of fun, including the College Football Playoffs.  How on Earth did we end up with so many good things all happening in the same year?
