The first true Dynasty Warriors game for PS4 will be a new open world deviation from the norm. The good news is new characters have already been announced and the previous 83 have all been guaranteed to be there. So the real reason we play the sequels is still alive.
Meanwhile, Sore ga Seiyuu has announced its ending this summer, so another manga series will finally come to its proper ending shortly. Only one series did so in 2016, so it's pretty momentous whenever something like this is announced. Hopefully a new anime season will be announced to cover the remaining material, or at least translators will scanlate whatever the anime doesn't cover from here.
