My thunder squad proved themselves as competent as my fire squad by taking down their own Orb Boss III level 3. This time the one vulnerable to thunder. I used the same process of harvesting down to damage bracelets from the level 2 version of the boss before taking on the big bad.
The only real difference is this time I had Mari provide the up to crit damage that Yotsuha had done for the fire girls. Mari's version is slightly weaker because it only buffs essentially two people (buffing herself is useless because she has no powerful attacks), whilst Yotsuha buffs all three people in the reserve column.
I used Seika to produce a thunder field, thus negating the ice field the boss tried to put up. I can use Tsukasa to produce a light field, so theoretically I should also be able to take down the light boss. The only problem is Kanade and Monaka are so low level that they can't put a dent on the light boss. I suppose the answer is to stock up on defenders/healers and let Tsukasa and Yuina do all the damage themselves, slowly but surely.
As for the dark boss, first I would need to level tuxedo Megumi to full and get swimsuit Yuina's level 3 limit break. Only then would my dark squad be ready to roll. The ice boss would be the worst of all. Almost all my ice element users are low level. To make matters worse, none of the seraphs I own can produce a dark or ice field, which means I would have to fight the whole fight on the enemy's turf.
I also improved my Heaven Burns Red music by downloading the official versions of Everlasting Night, Before I Rise, Indigo in Blue, Sad Creature and Soul Universe. Previously YouTube only had fan-made extended versions available so I had a song that was subpar compared to the composer's original intent, but at some point the real songs were posted. With the new official versions, I promoted Everlasting Night, Indigo in Blue and Sad Creature back to 5-star, demoting three Final Fantasy instrumentals to make room.
I plan on promoting a bunch more vocal themes in place of a bunch more FF instrumentals in the near future, capitalizing on the work I did scanning the 4-star tier for promising talents. But first I have to find the worst 5-star FF instrumental pieces to demote. I like Uematsu's music so much that I have a bad habit of rating everything he makes 5-star, even when it's undeserved, so this is a modest corrective measure to get back to straight merit.
It doesn't make sense that Epstein and Maxwell were convicted of the crime of trafficking underage prostitutes, but apparently no one on Earth ever had sex with these prostitutes. It doesn't make sense that Bill Clinton took 26 trips to Epstein's personal island, which was crawling with underage prostitutes, and he never boinked any of them. So why exactly did he feel the need to visit Epstein's Island so many times? Does it have a particularly good golf course or something? Obviously the FBI is covering something up. I had thought better of Trump. He said he wanted to drain the swamp and return America to real justice, where democrats could also be prosecuted for crimes, where actually nobody was above the law. But apparently some people are still above the law, and Trump is a weak poser who for whatever reason has given in to the shadowy forces of the deep state.
My assumption is Trump found out Epstein and Maxwell worked for Mossad, and Trump is pro-Israel, so he decided to bury this information which would make Israel look bad. But even if you're pro-Israel there's no justification for letting rich, powerful people play by a different rulebook than everybody else in America. He should put America first and the principle of equal justice in America is more important than any foreign policy objective. That's what he promised us. America first. Not Israel first.
It's also unfortunate that Trump is resuming arms shipments to Ukraine. Again, he promised to end the conflict in Ukraine, not artificially extend it by propping up the weaker side so that they could fight indefinitely. It feels like the Trump we elected and the Trump we got are completely different people.
The same for people like Tulsi Gabbard. She spent the past couple decades opposing war with Iran, but once she was on Trump's cabinet she did a complete about-face and endorsed bombing them to prevent a nuclear program she knew didn't exist and had said didn't exist a couple months ago. What happened to the principled Tulsi Gabbard? Why does everyone change their feathers the moment they get into power? What is it about Washington D.C. that corrupts everyone who enters, like holding the One Ring or something?
Obviously Trump is better than Kamala, but that's all I can say in favor of Trump these days. In the end mainstream politics will never get us to where we need to be.
