Wonderful +40:

Let's keep this ball rolling!  First off, I restored Rin from Yes Precure 5 to my Fictional Character Hall of Fame.  She already has a song assigned by virtue of being a daughter in '100 Waifus', so it's mainly a clerical issue.

Then I added 2 characters from Tales -- Claus and Suzu, and 2 from Star Ocean -- Lymle and Nina.  They got songs from their respective franchises so again I couldn't use any unused songs.

Then I added 7 characters from Final Fantasy -- Jill, Kuja, Faris, Lulu, Setzer, Kefka and Paine.  They got their theme songs which were also unused songs, so everything worked out for this cadre.  (Paine got an FF 10-2 5-star song because her own theme song is no good, and Faris got My Home, Sweet Home because it's too good to leave out.)

Then I added 10 characters from Unicorn Overlord.  The top 4 got songs from Unicorn Overlord -- Celeste, Yunifi, Chloe and Ochlys, so they didn't help in reducing the unused song count.  The next 6 did help out, though -- Primm, Travis, Nina, Sharon, Gilbert and Ridiel -- because I was out of 3-star or above ranking Unicorn Overlord music.

Then I added Mafuyu from Seitokai no Ichizon.  The theme song to Seitokai, Precious, is only 2-star, so I gave Mafuyu The Frostlands, a 5-star song from Octopath Traveler instead.

I added Almus' two wives from Isekai Kenkokuki, Tetra and Yulia, because I agree with Almus that both are too precious to go without.

From Octopath II I added Hikari and Agnea.  Their songs had already been assigned to other people, so I of course snatched it back from them.  In turn, Ryouta was given a new song, 'Theme 6' from Warlords 3.  And Mamoru was given a new song, 'Save Them!' from FF6.

I added Yachiru from Bleach.  She's actually a sword but Shishou is already in so why not Yachiru?

I added Eliaria back in from Kamitachi.  Ryoma stood her up like a bastard, but it's not like she did anything wrong.  She's still the courteous, blue-eyed, blonde-haired, tractable, friendly, powerful, talented lady that Ryoma spurned.  I gave her Way to Go because that's Kamitachi's theme song, so Mai from Fatal Fury had to get a new song -- I chose Gau.  Based on the title Mai and Gau have nothing in common, but if you actually listen to Gau it comes across as a mournful love song, which is actually exactly up Mai's alley.

I added Ayumi (Cure Echo) back in from Precure.  Her only weak point was being a minor character but Schala and Gemma are in so Ayumi should be too.

I added Hinata from Angel Beats!.  He's almost as cool as Yuzuru in the Knockin' on Heaven's Door prequel.  (A shame they never animated that prequel.)

I added Grahf from Xenogears.  As villains go he's as scary as they get.  But I think at the very end he actually switched to the hero's side.  Much like Darth Vader.  Grahf got his personal theme song, so Evangeline who used to have it was given Beneath the Surface instead, which also suits her.

Lastly I added 8 villains from my own series, Dead Enders -- Hank, George, Cho, Ryu, Elsie, Mastermind, Phyllis and Claus.  They don't have any established theme songs so all 8 were able to scoop up unused 5-star songs, a real coup.

Out of these 40, 11 had already appeared in '100 Waifus' before, and many who didn't appear were only disqualified due to repetitive names like Nina from Star Ocean.  The 8 villains from Dead Enders obviously couldn't appear because Christopher would have no way of knowing about them -- but as far as villains go they are some of the best ever.  The characters from Unicorn Overlord are bursting with beauty and flavor so all 10 of them eminently deserve to be ranked.  I could actually see ranking more in truth.

So basically the only dubious inclusion in this list are the villains Kefka and Kuja, but I think the main villains of major games like FF6 and FF9 do deserve some credit.  It isn't a stretch to rank them alongside Sephiroth or Golbez.

The new includes allowed me to cover the remaining 5-star Parasite Eve, Heroes of Might and Magic, Soma Bringer, FF1, FF2, FF3, FF6, FF9 and FF15 songs so a job well done.

Add it all together and you get 1341 wonderful fictional characters, and only 48 unused songs to go.
