No Game No Life volume 12 read:

The book came out on nyaa.si earlier today and I read it in one sitting, so I've probably read it sooner than virtually anyone else in the English-speaking world.  It was a good book with a lot of quotable philosophy in the first 20% or so.  It upped my valuation of the light novel series as a whole a good deal.  As for the actual dungeon crawling section, it was fun when they realized they could retreat to the safe room and start over as often as they liked, it shows how a single good idea can be worth more than stats, skills or hard work.

But it does get tiresome how much sexual innuendo is in this book followed by how little sex (i.e., none).  I understand the author is under the constraints of the publishing industry but that doesn't change the fact that it worsens the book, just like it did Oreimo.  Generally speaking if someone teases something they need to deliver or it's a letdown.

Also this dungeon crawl is getting too long and drawn out now that they've figured out the gimmick.  It sucks that they'll still be doing it next book, when there's still five other races to tame after this one.  The series isn't making any progress.  This author keeps complaining about his health (why do all authors have bad health?), so there are good odds he gives up or dies before completing the series, something that keeps happening over and over again even though it's ludicrous for a single story to take up more than a lifetime to tell.

The fun doesn't end here, though.  Index GT volume 9 is also out and halfway translated, so I can just switch from one light novel series to another.

I've gotten all the heritage armor sets except for the Allied races I race changed into (because they didn't exist yet at the time I made my characters that eventually race changed into them).  It's a shame but I wasn't about to delete the characters I'd already spent so much time with and start over from scratch just for a cosmetic armor set.  Still, it's close to a full collection, so another job well done.  Some of the heritage armor sets look really good and are the best costumes I have.  I hope they release more heritage armor quest lines soon, they're the most fun quests since the Legion artifact weapons.
