Disney+ has some decent stuff:

This is a good month to subscribe to Disney+.  I was able to catch up on 'Thor Love and Thunder' and 'Wakanda Forever,' and the new Ant-man movie comes out in a couple weeks.  Also, Venom is airing on Disney+ even though Disney doesn't own the rights to Venom.  I've always been a little curious about that movie and now I have a chance to watch it for free.

Four movies for one month's subscription isn't bad.  But there's also the Willow tv series and the Andor tv series, which are both okay.  Everything is on the level of 'watchable.'  Thor was funny but it failed to be emotional like the Macross Delta movie was despite having a very similar plot.  The west doesn't know how to genuinely love or lose, so whenever it tries it just feels empty.  I liked Namor from Wakanda Forever and how hard he fought for his people even if he came up a little short.  Shuri did a good job as his foil.

I liked Andor working away in his factory despite it being unrealistic, it's already established in Star Wars lore that droids build stuff in factories so prison labor doesn't make any sense.  But oh well, it was dramatic and cool so I'll ignore the logic behind it.

Uma Musume Road to the Top is genuinely emotional.  Though short I feel like I've known and cared about Narita Top Road all my life.  When she's devastated I'm devastated.  She's such a natural person, such a nice person, trying so hard, I empathize with her so much.  Of course you can't win every athletic event even when you're the best (Tom Brady only won half the time), so you have to learn to roll with the punches, but it sucks coming close to winning over and over and losing over and over every damn time.  I hope Top Road will win at least on the final episode.

It's impossible to get emotionally invested in Edens Zero because whatever happens will be undone by time travel.  Time travel is such a dumb and cheap plot device for that reason.  You can never care because nothing is ever real.

Spring anime is pretty good, what with having Kimetsu no Yaiba, but summer is going to be better.  There's Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Love Live, Atelier Ryza, Hataraku Maou-sama, Spy Classroom, and MIX will still be airing.  Then the fall season is even better -- Kanojo mo Kanojo, 100 Kanojo, Sousou no Frieren, Spy x Family, Tearmoon Empire, Tate no Yuusha, Idolm@ster Million Live, and new Yes Precure 5 of all things.  Once the fall anime season airs my top 200 anime rankings will be complete (again), and completely full of nothing but top quality, long length anime worth remembering forever.
