They Say I was Born a King's Daughter finished:

One of the hundred manga I was following suddenly came out fully translated to the very last chapter.  Well, not really a manga, a manhwa, made in South Korea.  But close enough.  I stopped liking this story when it became a game of whack a' mole, with the heroes using super magical beams to crush villains left and right.  All significant character development ended, the dialogue became trite and tepid, it lost all its early charm which was about building bonds and overcoming adversity.  But at least it's over now, so we can all rest easy and not have to worry about any more chapters coming out.

I also finished reading Second Stage Lensman.  Now Children of the Lens is all that's left.  Aside from Nadreck of Palain VII, everything in the story was repetitive and dull.  Boskone was so hopelessly outgunned and outsmarted from start to finish, they never stood a chance.  It was a one-sided slaughter that never made for an interesting story.  Kinnison landing on the planet of amazons was a little humorous, it was at least an original idea, but that's only a small section of the story at the beginning.

Princess Principal Crown Handler 1 is out in blu-ray.  I'm not sure how much of an upgrade that is from the original streamed version, but it's my policy to archive the blu-ray versions whenever possible.  Sometimes significant changes are made, like with Strike Witches 3.

The more I think about 2022 the more excited I get.  Electoral victory in November.  The Olympics and the World Cup.  Aiyoku no Eustia, Summer Pockets Reflection Blue, Rewrite+, Kud Wafter, Majikoi A-5, probably more visual novels.  Utawarerumono S3 and Bleach anime finally coming out.  The UQ Holder, and thus the Negima manga, finally coming to its climactic conclusion, the #1 value-added manga of all time.  The world is overladen with things that were delayed in 2021 to 2022.  There's going to be a deluge starting as early as this January.

One thing to look forward to in 2022 -- Amarimonogatari, the next volume of Bakemonogatari, is mostly translated right now with just a bit more to go.  I was afraid the remaining volumes would remain forever untranslated but it looks like things are back on track.

Of course, the ending of Hataraku Maou-sama! is only a couple months away.  It feels like a bunch of stuff that's taken decades to get to this point are all culminating in 2022.  In every field of interest, every topic, the answer is 2022!
