It's the end of the fall season so time to adjust my top anime rankings. Try as it might, Kanojo mo Kanojo couldn't maintain its #75 ranking as a 12 episode incomplete series. I notched it down a bit to #107. Meanwhile, Shiroi Suna no Aquatope gave a good enough showing in its first half that I was confident it would eventually reach #82 when completed this fall, so it moved up dramatically.
The third series needing correction was Shadows House. With the announcement of a second season it jumped to #68. All the other series remained the same except that they had to change a bit to accommodate these three moves.
Adjusting my rankings is a lot of work so hopefully I won't have to do it again for at least the next six months. But I couldn't leave such good series as Shadows House and Shiroi Suna so low ranking any longer.
I also changed my manga hall of fame to include the chapters people should start on if they wanted to read further than the anime went for Kanojo mo Kanojo (37) and Edens Zero (69).
I also changed my anime wishlist to include Isekai Kenkokuki and Kanojo mo Kanojo (now that the anime is over I can desire more again.) I kicked out the traditional targets, Aiyoku and Koutetsujou, to make room.
Aside from football not much is happening this September. October has a new anime season, new book releases, new movie streaming releases, basically it looks like a fun month. But September is sputtering on fumes.
I may not make a new post until my fall anime first impressions in October. It's that slow a news cycle.
I firmly believe America will collapse due to living a lie, but the Soviet Union lasted 70 years. There's no telling how long it will take for reality to debunk egalitarianism. That's why all I can do is distract myself with entertainment while waiting for the masses to catch on.
