Even to the very last page I still had to make an edit. The book said Yukino brandished three golden zodiac keys, but the Ophiuchus key isn't golden, it's black, so I deleted the word 'golden' to fit the facts. It's hard keeping up with every little detail to every series referenced when I'm referencing basically every series ever made.
Another readthrough is finished, though. It took 12 days of intense reading and constant editing, mostly of the word 'just,' but that added Yui section makes it all worth it. It turned a melancholy scene into a happy one, ending the story on a good note instead of a bad.
Mitsuki's eyes are indeed gray, but they constantly have a mysterious blue tint that really makes you want to call them blue. It might even be a prettier eye color than normal blue, the way it fades in and out like that. Iris' hair is indeed silver, but I think it's closer to white than gray, so the broader 'white' hair color category is as specific as I'm willing to get. Otherwise I would need a different color word for every shade of brown. Reina's hair color has been changed to orange and Honoka's to blue, as per the wiki descriptions on other sites. Hopefully this concludes my chapter 17 physical description travails.
Yet again I came away convinced that this was the best book ever written. Not only was I reading it for the 29th time, but only days after finishing it for the 28th time, and it was still riveting. The sex scenes were still sexy, the kid's names were still awesome, the political arguments were still persuasive, and Christopher managed to show his love to all 100 waifus, and all 100 waifus got to show their love for him, which is really the minimum floor of inclusiveness I was aiming for. All 100 partners are there for a reason.
For the 30th edition, I'd like to change out some subpar Tales names for the characters from Tales of Arise. I could also see changing out some other names, and cutting some more 'justs,' especially from the later chapters which I was more tolerant towards this time around. But even if these edits occur they won't change the larger flow of the story so people may as well read it now. The book is essentially perfect already:
This is a book that I could read and enjoy 29 times in a row, it's also a book that's been improved 29 times in a row. The end result is the best book ever written.
