Reinforced Concrete is a Tales of Destiny song I always hated, but still made it to its 86th playthrough. Why? Well, it's a complicated relationship. Parts of the song are awful, other parts are amazing, and still others are inbetween. It's so tough judging a song like this, it's a love-hate relationship. But the hate teetered over this time and I'm through with it. Back to 5480 songs in my music hall of fame.
I can afford to cut Motoi Sakuraba songs because he still has 871 other entries in my hall of fame. One or two ditties won't be missed either way. When Tales of Arise comes out no doubt that total will jump even higher. But before I can play Tales of Arise I would have to beat all my Switch rpg's. I'm about halfway through Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but at the rate I'm going. . . I have no idea when I'll finish it, Octopath Traveler or Bravely Default II. . . Hopefully sometime this year. . . Heck, technically I haven't even finished Xenoblade Chronicles 1 because there's still that bonus epilogue content.
One thing I am sure of though is that Nia is deserving of her place in '100 Waifus.' She's been great all game long, even though I'm only halfway through I know her character and it's golden. The only real question is whether Homura/Hikari deserves to be included too, not whether Nia should be excluded.
I rewatched all the old Batman movies -- Batman (1989), Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. They were decent. It's been decades since I last saw them so they were more entertaining than the Dark Knight trilogy, even though they're actually worse movies. They're in my movies hall of fame so it's good to see I wasn't overrating them. If you can still like a movie after watching it twice that's well above average.
It's ridiculous how slowly visual novels are being translated these days. We're still waiting on Majikoi A-4 and A-5, Summer Pockets Reflection Blue, Kud Wafter, Aiyoku no Eustia, Rewrite+ and on and on. But what this does mean is that at some point a giant flood of fantastic visual novel translations are going to drop all at once. Good things that don't happen now just means you can look forward to them happening later, it's not a bad situation at all.
