It can be downloaded at the ever-reliable nyaa.si, or purchased I suppose. I'm busy reading the Stormlight Archive right now so I can't catch up with Haruhi just yet, but I'm sure I'll do so eventually. This is one of my favorite book series, and inscrutably most of it was never animated despite being a super popular hit anime. That combination of quality + lack of adaption is what puts Haruhi at #7 in my good books rankings.
It's been a decade since the last volume of this series. I wonder if it will be a decade before the next one. Game of Thrones all over again.
I'm not opposed to political violence in abstract, but it has to be done for a moral and just cause, and be supported by enough people that it could actually succeed. 'Trump won the election!' is neither moral nor just, since it isn't based on any factual evidence and in fact has been completely and thoroughly debunked by every creditable source and person on Earth, including Trump's own appointed Supreme Court. If you threw a dart at a dartboard listing every possible moral or just cause for violence, this would be the least likely target. It's the most absurd and stupid reason to turn to terrorism imaginable. Not only is it stupid and wrong, it's also highly unpopular -- around 75% of the country disapproved of MAGA's latest stunt. If they had actually hurt or killed anyone but their own the disapproval would have skyrocketed even higher. You will never change America or Washington or anything by engaging in unpopular violent protests over debunked conspiracy theories. Well, I guess you could, but only in the sense that your position will be cracked down upon and completely eradicated.
And make no mistake, this was terrorism. You attempted to intimidate politicians into changing their politics -- switching the electoral college vote from Biden to Trump -- via criminal acts. That's the definition of terrorism. It didn't leave a field of corpses behind, which is nice, but the spiritual intent is the exact same. You attempted to substitute the rule of law and the democratic will for 'Trump won the election!' via terrorizing your opponents into submission directly.
Like usual, I find Andrew Anglin taking the pro-terrorist, pro-conspiracy theory, pro-idiocy position. This riot would have occurred without him, but he egged it on as best he could before and after the fact. He's discredited himself completely, yet again. People should listen to Tucker Carlson instead, who condemned the violence and explained patiently and clearly why it was a terrible idea to Trump's deluded followers.
Here's what Republicans should be doing now that they've lost all power forever: focusing on their careers, their families, and their hobbies, where they can actually do some good and live a happy, meaningful life. Go make money, become good at something, spread good will and good cheer to those around you, have fun. There is nothing political left to do. It's all over. Focus on your own life from here on and do what's actually possible to do -- the things that are personally within your power.
It's my contention that Democratic policies are disastrous and will promptly crash the country (if they actually follow through with them. If it was all talk then of course nothing will happen.) Well then, what do we have to worry about? Let Democrats discredit themselves and let America fall. It will be a useful lesson to the electorate when we're trying to decide the right policies for our successor state.
Don't even argue with Democrats. Don't engage them at all. There's no point. They've won, so let them have their way and see how it goes. We can all just wait and see what happens in actuality, we don't have to debate possibilities anymore. There will be clarity on all disagreements soon enough, as Democrats enact every policy they ever dreamed of unhindered, and it either works or it doesn't. Let reality decide.
