Third Kingdom

I can't say much in praise of this Sword of Truth iteration.  The heroes are bizarrely powerless as evil runs rampant across the land.  The story takes great pleasure in vividly describing in detail how Richard and Kahlan are imprisoned and tortured and how very sick and weak and helpless they are.  It almost makes you think the author is a sadist who just writes this stuff to get his kicks.

At the end of the book, the villains make a critical oversight that lets all the prisoners escape, but it hardly even matters.  Richard and Kahlan still can't use magic, and even if they could their enemies are immune to it because they have 'occult powers.'  What hope do they have of winning against the coming undead horde?

I suppose we'll find out in 'Severed Souls.'  It has to be better than this book, on the simple basis that if it got any more dire everyone would die and the plot would perforce end.

Strike Witches has finally resumed, and it was a perfect first episode.  It quickly re-introduced the cast and quickly launched them into a desperate battle with a Neuroi, this time with the added stakes that a friend's relative's life is at stake.  I wish there weren't so much reliance on cg, but in this budget strapped era every series seems to share this flaw.  Better to have some cg than nothing at all.

Andrew Anglin hints that his Christianity exists as a means to stop Jewish infiltration.  Demanding the movement be Christian eliminates all Jewish, even atheist Jewish, infiltration.  But this is like cutting your head off to avoid getting the flu.  Demanding people be Christian also filters out all intelligent, honest, and/or honorable people from your movement, because no one can both be Christian and any of those things.  It is simply asking too much of someone to swallow such obvious lies as are found in the Bible, from the Old Testament to the New Testament -- the dumb and evil things God does and says, the unfulfilled prophecies, the stupid ritual requirements, the ridiculous fake miracles that make no sense, the complete lack of miracles in the modern era proving a divine double standard -- it's all just too much.  The only people who still cling to this nonsense are charlatans and fools.  I suspect Anglin to be a charlatan, who doesn't even believe any of this crap, using Christianity solely as a means to discriminate against Jews.  But nobody wants a country of exclusively charlatans and fools.  One's as bad as the other.  I'd rather surround myself with honest, intelligent Jews if it comes to that.

How hard is it to say that due to ethnic differences and longstanding historical grievances, Jewish and white interests are incompatible?  They should go their way, preferably to their designated country which is Israel, and we should go ours, preferably to our new country which is Vinland.  There's too much bad blood between us, dating all the way back to the Roman Empire, to ever coexist.  Let it be ended.  I don't have to rely on some stupid religion that was invented by Jews and a holy book written by Jews that worships a Jew as God Almighty in order to say I've had enough of Jews and their lies and wish to be free of them once and for all.  That actually seems like the least sensible way to escape Jewish influence imaginable.

We must discard all the ancient lies and start anew.  There's no point escaping from the liberal lie of egalitarianism if we just jump into some lake of primitive superstition instead.  I want to be able to tell the truth and not be punished for it, I want to be able to live my life dedicated to the truth and not be punished for it.  What's the use in substituting one lie for another?  How is life improved?
