It's been a policy for all my hall of fame visual novels, manga, and anime to be represented somewhere in the names of the wives or children of '100 Waifus,' forming a fictional character hall of fame embedded within the story. When Kami-tachi got ranked, though, it had no representation, since the book was written before it reached my anime rankings. Nothing a little editing couldn't fix.
Now Ryoma, the slime tamer, is in the book, at the cost of a useless Makoto I didn't want anyway. The only problem is his name overlaps with Ryoma Echizen's, but I figure people can figure out which Ryoma I'm referring to from the context in the story. One Ryoma is called a 'badass' character which certainly doesn't fit the conciliatory image of Ryoma the slime tamer. The other Ryoma is mentioned as the sole representative of an under-mentioned series. Since I have many characters named after Prince of Tennis characters, the context could only be pointing to Kami-tachi's Ryoma. Through subtle clues an attentive reader will never go astray.
Yuna from Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear was already in my book because I knew the anime was coming and would reach my rankings when it arrived so planned ahead. I'll be in trouble and have to edit things further if any additional series makes my rankings though.
It might be time to begin my 24th read through of the book to see how all the edits have done since my 23rd read through. This is a good time since nothing new is coming out entertainment wise until after the election. The only fun thing to do these days is level characters via the new Chromie-time mechanic found in the WoW Shadowlands pre-patch. . .and even Shadowlands has been delayed. . .
Meanwhile, Kimetsu no Yaiba's movie aired in Japan, but there was still no mention of a 2nd tv anime season. For some bizarre reason, one of the most popular manga in history has apparently been abandoned by all the studios. This travesty is now at the top of my anime wishlist. There's no way a manga this good shouldn't be animated to the end. To make room I kicked out Sore ga Seiyuu!, which has a good enough anime ending already.
