I'm just about finished re-reading and re-editing '100 Waifus' for the 21st time. My crusade on composer names continues, as I knocked the total down from 25 composers to 20. This is a fictional character hall of fame, not a musician hall of fame, so it makes little sense for there to be any composers at all, but at the very least I should restrict it to the top 20. One of the purposes of employing composers was in order to recruit some high quality males to take up ranks, because there are never enough good boys to go around as compared to the plenitude of high quality female fictional characters. Which is why this time I aimed to replace primarily female singers, who aren't serving any useful role at all.
At the same time, when I expanded my visual novel hall of fame from 10 to 20 franchises, I suddenly had hall of fame visual novel franchises that weren't represented anywhere in my fictional character hall of fame, which is totally unacceptable. Now this is fixed. By taking out four female singers and putting in one girl each from Harmonia, Shuffle!, Trinoline and Dracu Riot all my ranked visual novels are represented in '100 Waifus' once more. The new girls are Shiona, Primula, Yuuri and Elina. Very deserving girls too -- much better than the dumb singers who don't belong in the book anyway.
I also dropped one male composer simply for being too weak and not composing enough good songs, replacing him with Rhodry from the Deverry Cycle. This is one of my favorite novel series so it's nice to have it represented, just like the Book of Swords is by Mark.
Meanwhile, I dropped 'Black Mirror' and 'Megalopolis Salonia' from my music hall of fame on account of not being worth listening to 100 times. Back down to 5468 songs.
