Star Twinkle Precure movie is great:

Star Twinkle: Wish Upon a Song of Stars doesn't make the same mistakes as other precure movies.  It doesn't rely on the silly miracle light mechanic much, and when it does it's seamless.  It doesn't rely on CG much, and when it does it's seamless.  It focuses on the characters and their emotions more than gags or fights.  Plus they put infinite resources into the artistry, both visual and audio.  I'm totally floored.  I'm sure it would have looked even more amazing in theaters.

Star Twinkle already had one of the best casts and settings in the franchise to work with, so maybe this movie being so good shouldn't have come as a surprise, but so often the precure movies don't live up to the series.  This surpassed the series.

The moment you realize Lala cares for Yuma more than Hikaru can't be topped.

As usual, the movie can be found over at nyaa.si, thanks to fansubbers.  The movie only came out in October in Japan so I wasn't expecting it to show up so soon.  We're very blessed.

Meanwhile, the Omoi, Omaware, Furi, Furare manga is being serialized as 'Love me, Love me not' in commercial English so there's a possibility we'll eventually get to see the ending to this series -- years from now.  A late ending is better than none at all.
