The movie kept me laughing throughout, while also being very topical 'we're living in a post-truth world now,' and had some great action sequences -- the drone fight at the end was spectacular. It was pretty much flawless, except for the absurd romantic pairings and the overall lack of gravitas. Thanos was a much cooler villain. But oh well, a regular one-hero movie shouldn't really have to compete with a three hours Avengers two-part movie.
The point is this was even better than Into the Spiderverse, and that's saying a lot. I think this was the best Spider Man movie ever. Marvel just keeps hitting these films out of the park.
Naturally it entered my movies hall of fame, to make room I kicked out the oft forgotten sequel to 300. No loss there.
