Major 2nd Season 2 Anime Green-lit!:

Starting in April of 2020, Major 2nd resumes!  Hallelujah!  I was complaining earlier that it wasn't clear if there would be anything at all worth watching next spring, but now we at least have one sure thing.  Major is as classic as it gets.

This new season should go beyond anywhere the English reading world has seen before, as the manga scanlators have given up long ago.  So not only is it the anime of a great series, but the anime of a great untranslated series, the best of all possible worlds.  The experience will be brand new.

Meanwhile, in the football world, huge showdowns loom between Oklahoma and Texas + LSU and Florida with playoff implications.

Meanwhile, the Yuru Yuri Ten ova came out subtitled in blu-ray, so be sure to fetch that.  It's nothing special, but it definitely lived up to the humor of the original series.

It was only to be expected that the resumption of already-ranked series Fate/Grand Order and Granblue Fantasy would be great, but boy is it nice to watch shows with proper budgets.  They're a delight to behold even when the dialogue is a little head-scratching.

Now all eyes look to the resumption of SAO six days from now.  My fall 2019 anime first impressions post should come out tomorrow or the day after, but really everything is mere icing on the cake compared to #1 SAO's resumption.  With Railgun being delayed, SAO will have the spotlight for the entire rest of the year to itself.

I finished Azusa and Elina's routes in Dracu Riot, leaving three more to go.  Maybe I can finish before year's end?  It's a nice enough game, the art is certainly top class, but it isn't really inspiring either.  Well, you take what you can get.
