[MTTB] has released a 1080p blu-ray subtitled version of SAO Alicization in full. This right after Index III got its blu-ray release. The flood gates really have opened. There's no need to rewatch SAO this soon, though, as the next season of SAO is only a month away. It would be better to rewatch the whole series once it's finished at once. This release will prove invaluable in time, just not right now.
Final Fantasy 8 Remastered also came out today, with all the nostalgic sound effects and music, plus better looking graphics and cool features that move the game along faster. I'm really looking forward to this new version of FF 8, I haven't played this game in 20 years so my memories of what happened are quite foggy by now. For the same reason I'm really looking forward to FF 7 Remake.
The Youjo Senki movie takes a lot of liberties with the source material, but maybe that was necessary. So far the movie has been better than the books so I don't mind. In any event, I finished volume 4 and still have volumes 5 and 6 left to read, so September has a lot of fun options right now.
