The two newest seiyuu to be added to my anime voices hall of fame are Chafurin (male) and Ryoko Shiraishi (female). Both have been included for their playing of male characters, though. Chafurin for Oishi, the policeman in Higurashi, and Ryoko for the titular Hayate in Hayate no Gotoku.
Both seiyuu have long and distinguished careers with tons of important roles. They're perfectly qualified to join my other 191 distinguished seiyuu. Now I just need 7 more to round things out. . .
Kanata no Astra had a stellar second episode. If it can keep up this pace it will join my great anime rankings.
Rumiko Takahashi's new manga (Mao) is also looking good. If it keeps up its pace, it will replace someone in my manga hall of fame. Shingeki no Kyojin will eventually be animated in full, making the manga pointless, come 2021, so perhaps that will be my target. The important thing is Mao is an actual manga, not a light novel adaption, so it's actually eligible for entry, unlike everything else I'm reading nowadays.
