Summer 2019 Anime Preview:

With the airing of the first episode of Shingeki no Kyojin, the spring season is set in stone.  If you want to know more about it you can always check my http://diamed-the-road-less-traveled.blogspot.com/2015/02/good-animemanga-situational-report.html permapost.  Due to Kimetsu no Yaiba's quality spring is turning out quite nicely, but it's hard to make up for the loss of SAO and Index, so it's been a bit of a letdown compared to the winter season.  This means it's time to look forward to the start of the next season, Summer 2019.  What do we have in store for us next?

So 14 series we know already will be worth watching before the summer season even begins.  Vinland Saga is a great manga so it's almost sure to become a great anime when all is said and done too.  Then there's a plethora of unknown series that might be good.  If even a couple are that would get a higher total of worthwhile series than winter or spring.

I'm really looking forward to this summer season.  This will most likely mark the end of Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is currently sitting at #2 in my rankings but if the ending is moving enough I could see it reaching #1.

My current #1, SAO, is set to resume in the fall season, alongside #14 Railgun, so the fall season will also be amazing.  But I suspect it will end up weaker than this summer season for lack of Fairy Tail. . .  Well, both seasons are going to be great either way.  Both are going to be way better than the spring season, just like the winter season was.  We're currently stuck in the doldrums of 2019 anime, but things are slated to heat up from here.
