There's a new great composer/performer in town, Masumi Ito. Responsible for five songs in my music hall of fame, she shoves out Kana Uemura as a new member of my 200 strong pantheon of great musicians.
Until today I didn't realize Masumi Ito was behind so many different songs. She goes by different names and often composes for other singers, so it's impossible to follow all the tentacles. But it turns out I'd already been enjoying this singer for a long time. She's responsible for:
Daichi no la-li-la
Nemu wo Sagashi ni
Soramimi Cake
Aria Spinning the Wheels
Laybrinth of Isolation
I only just now added Daichi, which expanded my music hall of fame to 5411 songs, but if I'd only known about her eminence in shadow she would have been included long ago. One more clerical error corrected.
Speaking of the number five, I've also reread my favorite and newest novel, 'In Another World With 100 Waifus,' for the fifth straight time. I took the opportunity to do a little more proofreading, polishing it just that much further.
Hello, Goodbye isn't a very good visual novel, despite the excellent voice acting and music, due to the plot being utterly outlandish. There aren't any more good isekai manga left to pick up, Soul Calibur VI isn't very engaging, and March Madness is over, so 100 Waifus, for the fifth time, was as good as it was going to get.
Now that I've read the story for a record breaking fifth time, I encourage everyone else to try it out for their first time. The new content from parts 4 and 5 are outstanding and add a lot to the overall package.
100 Waifus combines everything I like or care about in this world. The only word for something like that is perfect.
Meanwhile, my previous first impressions post was my 2000th on this blog. I've really come a long ways. The fact that I could still post something important and new -- '100 Waifus Part 5,' just a few days ago, is remarkable. Most people never blog this long or this much. The Road Less Traveled is also perfect, since it encompasses my perfect 100 Waifus novel as well as all my other amazing permaposts.
It's really easy to read a good book, even for a fifth time, when such an epic itunes playlist is playing in the background. My music hall of fame could make me happy even if I were stuck in solitary confinement. So I'll give an assist to my awesome music collection this time around.
YU-NO's second episode shattered any illusions I had about this series. It will be watchable at best.
