Isekai de Kojiin Wo Hiraitakedo, Isekai de Saikyou no Tsue and Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko have all joined my isekai manga reading list. I'm actually running low on new isekai manga to read, which is sad. It felt like an infinite resource at first but I'm all caught up after just half a year. Oh well, it's been fun while it lasted, and I can always look forward to the occasional update.
Meanwhile, I decided the melody to 'Demonic Infringement' was too similar to 'Lord of Vermilion,' and thus cut it as a pseudo-remix. It's rare for Nobuo Uematsu to copy a song from one franchise to another, but I guess it happens.
Message of Genoce also overlaps too much with Genoce so I cut it.
I also decided Ominous Wind, Uneasy, Determination, Resistance, Wreckage, Voice of Ark, Blind Spot in Broad Daylight and Cavern (all from Front Mission Gun Hazard) simply weren't worth listening to 100 times and cut them.
To make up for my losses, I added in another Star Wars theme, 'The Fleet Enters Hyperspace,' which is only a minute-long portion of an otherwise 10:40 song. The rest of the piece is just remixes of other Star Wars themes, but this one portion is new and great, and with the help of itunes I can cut everything that comes before and after the part of the song I want to listen to.
I could probably do this for a lot more Star Wars songs. With proper editing, I could find a juicy morsel or two of new ditties from what would otherwise just be a pile of rejected remixes. It sounds like a lot of work though, and I don't think there's anything important I'm missing, so for now I'll give that idea a pass.
This puts my music hall of fame back down to 5389 songs.
NCAA Men's Basketball conference championship tournaments that earn a direct bid into the NCAA Tournament are already underway, so it's now possible to turn our attention to basketball for the remainder of the month. Hallelujah.
