One of my eagerly awaited visual novel translations received a release, "Hello, Goodbye" by Lump of Sugar. It's available over at nyaa.si.
I'm kind of busy now so I probably won't play this game any time soon, but it's nice to get what you've been waiting for after so many years.
I mean, the game came out in Japan in 2010. We barely managed to get it translated within the same decade.
There's literally just one untranslated chapter left of the Sakura Trick manga. The manga was never as good as the anime, but it's been so long since I got to see a series finale properly translated to the end, I'll take anything. I just want closure. Even Angel Beats: Heaven's Door has a sequel manga. Fairy Tail, Naruto, everything has a sequel manga. I never get to see any endings. But Sakura Trick will really be the end. I can close the cover of this book and file it away into my hall of treasured memories.
Huggto Precure also ended today. From here on it's all about Star Twinkle Precure. I have a lot more hope for this show, I think the space theme is cool and breaking new territory for the franchise. My favorite story about the stars is Hoshizora no Memoria, and after that Sora no Manimani. Star Twinkle is going to have to pull out all the stops if it wants to surpass that bar. If it can, I wouldn't mind relisting Precure as a great anime again. If.
