The first useful Pretty Cure released this year, the Pretty Cure Super Stars movie, is out in blu-ray with English subtitles over at nyaa.si. Just be sure to name the .srt file the exact same as the raw commie file it's meant to be paired with.
The movie includes the girls from Mahotsukai, Kira Kira and Huggto. This is the first time Huggto Precure appear within the great portions of this franchise. It's nice to give them at least a small chance to shine.
That gets us to 24 different franchises with a beneficial addition to have occurred this year. Still far less than the average of the last decade, but a meaningful amount all the same.
This also gets my total great anime count up to 8,999. So starting next week I'll be back over my much boasted 9,000 episode/movie count. A shame I couldn't quite make it by the end of 2018, but sometimes that's just how things go.
Bowl season turned out to be a disappointment, none of the games were close. Oh well, maybe the Clemson-Alabama final slated for 2019 will live up to the hype. They're both undefeated for the first time after all.
