Kimi to Idol Precure is a great anime:

After watching the first four episodes I'm confident this will be another great season of Pretty Cure.  It already looks better than Wonderful Precure.  Abstractly speaking, I like idols a lot more than pets, so it isn't surprising this season is a great success.  Uta is a charming girl who immediately jumps to cheer up the people around her, while also taking responsibility as Earth's savior and last line of defense.  I also like the art style.  The idols really are as gorgeous as idols should be.

Russia has finally taken back Bilogorivka, which gives them a reasonably straightforward route to Siversk.  Without the terracone Ukraine will find it much harder to defend this front.  Russia is also making progress in Chasiv Yar, small as it may be.  It's been three years and Russia has barely moved the front line from when they started.  Ukraine still owns a portion of Russia and hasn't been dislodged from it for the past six months.  This is the result of trying to beat the entire united west without mobilizing or even ramping up military spending to a wartime economy.  Yes, it can be done, but the progress is torturously slow.  It shouldn't have transpired the way it has, but whatever, here we are.  Russia will still win in the end, and I will still be proven right eventually.

I finished the Nozomu route in Hatsuyuki Sakura and am now working on the Tamaki route.
