3 new songs:

I've elevated 3 new songs to my 5-star music hall of fame:  Suzume, from Suzume, as well as Sen-nen Ai and Yururi from Seiken Gakuen.  Sen-nen and Yururi are the opening and ending themes of Seiken Gakuen, which may not be a spectacular anime, but it sure has spectacular music.

Suzume has a very fitting soundtrack throughout, but it only rises to a standalone valuable song when it goes all out for its titular theme song.  It's not a coincidence that only 'Suzume' from Suzume stands out.

To make room I stitched together 4 short FF 3 ditties, which all together still only last 42 seconds, so there are still 5500 great songs overall.  I've also found appropriate songs to demote so every tier remains at 1100.

These are the only songs I've been craving but hadn't collected yet, so at least my music hall of fame will have some peace and quiet after this.

Shingeki no Kyojin as a story ceased to make sense once time travel got involved, but the anime gave it a decent conclusion, the best it could do given the source work.  It's neat that the story resolved exactly on its 100th episode.

I also read the last chapter of "I'm not a lolicon," which also involves time travel and thus makes little sense.  Maybe writers should tone down this whole time travel thing.  But at least the sensei gets with Chise, the right girl from the beginning.

There's also a new chapter of Fate/Kaleid Liner out at mangadex, and it really feels like we're nearing a conclusion and the heroes might pull things out, though sadly yet again by using time travel. . .

The top college football teams all won, keeping things suspenseful till the end of the season.  Poor Air Force was destroyed by the ignominious Army though.  So much for finally making the rankings.  Next week should have more exciting matchups, like Penn State vs. Michigan and Georgia vs. Ole Miss.
