Previously I did a rough and ready comparison of musical albums (by album I basically mean sources, so the soundtrack to Star Wars is one source, or the soundtrack to Final Fantasy 8 is another source, I count any connected storyline as a single source, but if the franchise is too fragmented I treat it as different sources) by the number of 5-star songs they had to their name. But a more accurate measurement would be by the total musical worth of all their hall of fame songs combined, and yet more accurate would be that measurement now that all my assigned ratings are by merit. So without further ado, who are the best music albums and by how much?
